Tthis logical, step-by-step process covers observation and testing using equipment accessible to most jewellery professionals. This day contains a series of lectures and hands-on sessions. Over 50 laboratory-grown diamonds are available to view, which exhibit the full range of possible identification features. Course is CPD accredited.

Topics will include: Observation, magnetism, UV reactions, crossed polarised filters (CPF), screening equipment, testing melee and discussions on advanced equipment. Equipment includes; Dr Watson by Yehuda, Presidium SDS II, Jewellery Inspector by Gemetrix, and Gemetrix StrainView.
