IGI to Unveil Record-Breaking Lab-Grown Diamonds "Celebration of India" and "Infinity Ring" at JCK Show 2024.

The International Gemological Institute (IGI) has certified two groundbreaking laboratory-grown diamonds from Ethereal Green Diamond LLP, in collaboration with RockRush (SoHo, New York).

These two remarkable diamonds—a 75.33 carat emerald cut diamond and a 30.69 carat ring-shaped diamond—will be unveiled at the JCK Show in Las Vegas, running from May 31st to June 3rd at booth #8135.

Record-Breaking 75.33 Carat Diamond

The 75.33 carat diamond, named "Celebration of India," is the largest facetted laboratory-grown diamond to date. It took approximately 270 days to grow to a 190 carat rough stone and an additional 30 days to cut and polish.

Hirav Virani, Director at Ethereal Green, expressed, "At Ethereal Green, we are constantly innovating, adopting new technology, and creating benchmarks. It gives me immense pleasure to showcase 'Celebration of India' which has not only created a new milestone of 75 ct but also commemorates sovereign India's remarkable achievements for over 75 years of Independence."

Last year, Prime Minister Narendra Modi gifted an IGI-certified 7.5 carat lab-grown diamond to U.S. First Lady Dr. Jill Biden to mark India's 75th Independence anniversary.

No colour and clarity grade for this stone has been reported as the clients wish to focus on the size of the stone.

30.69 Carat Infinity Ring

The "Infinity Ring," a 30.69 carat ring made entirely out of laboratory-grown diamond was crafted from a single crystal stone grown via Chemical Vapor Deposition (CVD) technology.

The Infinity Ring originated from a 98.88 carat rough CVD crystal. According to Virani, "The Infinity Ring is a testament to our skilled workmanship."

It took about 146 days to grow the rough crystal and another 90 days to transform it into its final "freeform modified shape" at Ethereal Green's advanced facility in Gujarat (Surat), India.

Industry Milestones

Tehmasp Printer, CEO of IGI, praised these accolades: "These achievements are striking examples of Ethereal Green's dedication to innovation and ingenuity in consistently breaking their own records. We congratulate their team in developing these extraordinary creations which showcase limitless possibilities with advanced tech in the lab-grown diamond sector."

Following the JCK Show, both "Celebration of India" and "Infinity Ring" will be displayed at the RockRush store in SoHo, New York.

IGI at JCK Show

In addition to showcasing these diamonds, IGI will participate in the JCK show with on-site grading, gemstone screening, and educational information at booth #11065.
